Agency: Russian new car sales rise 13% in January–September

MOSCOW, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Sales of new cars in top 30 Russian regions rose 12.9% on the year to 1.16 million units in January–September, research agency Autostat said in a statement on Wednesday.

The top three markets for new cars in the country are Moscow with sales rising 12.1% on the year to 168,000 vehicles in the period, the Moscow Region with sales growing 15.1% to 95,700 units, and St. Petersburg with sales increasing 13% to 79,800 vehicles, the agency said.
